I've been trying to organize my collection for what feels like forever. Now I finally feel like I am getting somewhere. I cannot wait to see what it's like all done.

Package Day Take 2

Today is yet another package day. There is nothing like the excitement of coming home after work and seeing a small package waiting. These were only a few dollars on Amazon. I don't have many Formula X polishes. These seemed like a good tester. Cannot wait to try them.

Flea Market Finds

We went to the local flea market today. I found these gems below. Time to sort and add to the collection. Nail gems include leaves of all colors, jewels , different kinds of flowers, and bows. OPI polish called The Color to Watch; Maybelline Color Show called Plum as You Are, and nail art tattoos. All in all, a good hall today.

A Little Something About Me..

My first official post. Oh man am I nervous. Let's start with something about me. I am just a simple Mom who works hard during the day and at night, plays with as many colors of nail polish that she can fit on her nails. My wonderful husband supports me and my crazy addiction. My twin girls are my test subjects when I have a design I know I cant do on my own. My Bear and Little Monkey love it when I pull polish off my rack. Some days I cannot believe they are soon to be teenagers. My polish collection is pushing 170 bottles. I have my favorites, but any polish is worth a try just once. My Sinful Colors section takes up the most with 38 bottles!! I have found in my trial and errors that a good topcoat makes ALL the difference. I have tried a handful of them and nothing really compares to Seche Vite. At first I was hesitant on spending up to $10 for a single bottle, but after giving it a try, I don't think I can ever go back. I cannot wait to share my designs (past and future) with my readers. I plan on adding pictures of my collection, nail rack, tools, and everything else a fellow DIY'er may need. Also, I am all ears for designs to try. Please feel free to send me any suggestions.
